a few observations:
- prices do not need to escalate with the value of the underlying token. You can set prices in $ for example, and have them converted to token amounts automatically.
2. the ultimate virality is get paid to use (better than free), and as you say more users → higher token value. You can’t *just* have a paid level for these things.
3. A big obstacle is these apps right now are not designed for consumers. In fact they are not really “designed” at all. Augur may be decentralized, but it’s a horrible app.
