Using MultiSig on LynxChain with Bloks.io

One of the great things about EOSIO is the built in support for multi-sig. This is something that is lacking on the base layer of ETH, fo example. Thanks to our friends at Bloks.io, it’s very easy to do on LynxChain. Let’s show you how.

The problem: Send 0.01 LNX to @kory with dual signatures from @fred and @cindys.

Ok. so we need to set this up in Bloks, which we will access as a dapp on the Lynx desktop. Next we enter “MultiSig” mode.

Toggle Multi-Sig to enter muti-sig proposal mode.

We now go back to the wallet, and create a 0.01 proposed transaction for Kory. Because we are in multi-sig mode, we have additional fields, namely a list of signatories (fred and cindys), and a proposal name “korybonus”

I now exit multi-sig mode and go back to signing proposals.

After going to the “multisig tab” on Bloks, it’s easy for everybody involved to sign off”

And the transaction then gets done seamlessly.

Future Improvements?

Could this be simplified further? Probably. But Bloks does a pretty good job, and it’s not something you need everyday. The real challenge is just explaining it!
